What is Our Story?
Bethany Music Ministry started 15 years ago with a handful of eager volunteers, a guitar, a keyboard, a drum kit, and a couple mic stands… and has grown into a ministry that has reached thousands in the Philadelphia area.
God. Is. Amazing.
We have recorded an album and have another underway. We have played at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, the steps of the Art Museum, Malvern Retreat House and most recently were featured as the House Band for the Youth Congress at the World Meeting of Families. All of these experiences have changed us and shaped us into who we are as a ministry today. But even more than these “hilltop experiences,” it has been God’s movement in the mundane and the painful that has strengthened, not only our friendships with each other, but our faith in God and our commitment to sharing His all-encompassing love with as many people as we can.
Life can break us, but in our weakness He is strong.
We have seen the power of God move in our lives on the hilltop and in the valley and have found that God’s love and mercy is truly incalculable. Our song is our testimony.
We are a Catholic Worship Ministry and joyfully engage in all the riches the Catholic tradition has to offer.
We believe deeply in the power of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
We believe in offering an authentic worship experience, one in which we step aside and to see God to move freely.
Bethany Music Ministry exists to spread the Gospel through music. To create a space in our hearts and the hearts of those who worship with us where heaven truly touches earth. It is our mission and hope that our music will honor God and bring His people closer to Him in a powerful, life changing way.
